HOWMZ

Social Media Content Creator

Date posted: November 4, 2026

Loc. Heber CityType Part-time, 15–25 hours/week

Pay: $17–22/hour depending on experience

The Role

HOWMZ is hiring a Social Media Content Creator to build our social presence from scratch. You’ll choose our platforms, find our voice, and create the photos and video that show what we’re building, from panels on the factory floor to families getting their keys.

There’s no playbook and no backlog to inherit. We’re a small, fast-growing company, so this role comes with real ownership. Students and recent grads are encouraged to apply.

Why HOWMZ

HOWMZ builds homes as engineered products. Panels, bathroom pods, and mechanical pods are built to repeatable tolerances in our Heber City factory, then delivered and assembled on site. Every other industry has learned to deliver a better product at a lower cost. Construction hasn’t. That’s the problem we solve, we’re growing fast, and now we want people to see it.

What you’ll do

This is a hands-on role: expect real time on the factory floor and at job sites, camera in hand.

  • Build our channels from day one. Set up and brand our accounts (likely Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn), decide where to focus, and create a simple style guide.
  • Tell a story most people haven’t seen. Shoot and edit photos and short-form video of panels and pods being built, homes assembled on site, and finished home tours.
  • Share our growth. Cover new projects, milestones, team spotlights, and homeowner move-ins.
  • Post consistently. Plan and run a content calendar.
  • Grow the community. Respond to comments and messages, and build relationships with local followers, partners, and vendors.
  • Measure what works. Track reach and engagement and share a monthly recap, building a portfolio of results you can point to.
  • Be heard. Work directly with the factory, field, sales, and leadership teams. A good idea reaches the person who can act on it that same week.

What you bring

Required

  • Fluency in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, and a sense of what performs.
  • Phone shooting and editing skills with tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Express.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation around Heber City.

Nice to have

  • Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or design.
  • Experience growing an account (yours, a club’s, or a business’s).
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, or similar tools.

Compensation and benefits

$17–22/hour depending on experience, or a paid internship.

Schedule: Part-time, 15–25 hours/week, with flexible hours that fit around classes or other commitments.
